Hello! My name is Jennifer Webster, Founder of Vose Mountain Fibers. My purpose is to create elegant, adaptable clothing and accessories made from the finest materials gathered from all over the world. Each piece is lovingly constructed, and given the care and attention that only a handmade item can achieve. What sets Vose Mountain Fibers apart is how each piece is made. Every bag has fully lined pockets with Shantung Silk or Waxed Canvas, and there are no floating liners, so the bags are less likely to rip out with repeated use. The clothing is all double-sewn, meaning that there are no raw seams like you see in today’s mass-produced garments. I started thinking about the way mass-produced garments are made back in high school when I started my sewing journey, and my path through the years has taught me what to look for in a garment and how to construct each piece in a way that is sturdy and will last. In recent years, I had the opportunity to learn from designing handbags for Rough & Tumble. My experience with sewing and designing for these companies gave me the knowledge and technical ability to offer well-built items that withstand the test of time; and to that end, all our pieces are guaranteed against workmanship defects.
